Computerised Imaging

2D Computerised Facial Planning

Images of the patient’s face are scanned in and merged with facial photographs and software is used to predict the planned movements and a final treatment plan which is communicated to the patient.

3D Surgical Planning and Simulation Surgery

The facial scans and dental models are scanned and imported into specialised 3D facial planning software. This allows for precise measurements and movements of the jaws In 3 dimensions and surgical simulation is carried out according to the surgical plan. From there, 3D printed surgical templates are fabricated and these templates are used during surgery to allow for accurate duplication of the planned movements. There is significant amount to time spent in facial planning which occurs behind the scenes prior to surgery. This is necessary in order to achieve an optimal outcome.
