Sydney Oral & Facial Surgery was established in 1997 by Dr Lydia Lim as a premier referral based specialist practice in Sydney's North Shore. Today, we have grown to become a dynamic group practice comprising of 4 highly qualified specialists who work collaboratively together.
Dr Lydia Lim is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and in addition to providing oral surgery services she is known for her expertise in Orthognathic (Corrective Jaw) Surgery. Her practice also has a special focus on Dental Implant Surgery including bone augmentation and advanced implant techniques.
Dr Margaret Kim is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is highly trained surgeon with dual degrees in both Dentistry and Medicine. Dr Kim has over 12 years of surgical experience. She brings to our practice a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgery expertise and she is known for her gentle and caring approach ensuring excellence in patient care.
Dr Pearl Sirichai is a Specialist Oral Surgeon with over 10 years experience in Oral Surgery and is qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry. Pearl is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and she is known for her calm, approachable manner and takes time to ensure patients feel at ease and supported throughour their care.
Dr Suma Sukumar is a highly regarded Oral Medicine Specialist providing valuable expertise in the diagnosis and management of all Oral Medicine conditions and soft tissue lesions in the mouth.
Our practice consists of modern consulting rooms with the latest diagnostic equipment with surgical suites where we offer surgery under local anaesthetic and intravenous sedation. Our surgeons operate at several reputable private hospitals in Sydney’s North Shore including the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Hunters Hill Private Hospital, Castlecrag Hospital, and Chatswood Private hospital. We have a team of highly trained specialist anaesthetists that work with our doctors on a regular basis.
Our professional support team include a Office Manager, Receptionists, Registered Nurses and Surgical Dental Assistants. Our well trained staff follow strict infection control guidelines. We regularly attend training courses to update our skills including annual on-site training for medical emergencies, CPR and Infection Control.
