Dr Margaret Kim is an Australian trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon qualified in both Dentistry and Medicine.

Dr Kim grew up in the North Shore of Sydney. She graduated from Sydney University with a degree in Dentistry and she completed her Dental Primary examinations for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) in 2004. Dr Kim decided to pursue her passion in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was accepted into Medicine at the University of Queensland graduating with her MBBS degree in 2010. She was also awarded a Masters degree by Research from the Queensland University of Technology. Dr Kim worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Gold Coast Hospital gaining experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Anaesthetics and Head and Neck Oncology, and she also held a position as a General Surgery Registrar at the Canberra Hospital. Dr Kim then completed her Advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the NSW/ACT training program and was awarded the specialist qualification FRACDS(OMS) from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. During her training, Dr Kim has worked at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, and The Canberra Hospital, ACT where she has gained a breadth of surgical experience.

Dr Kim brings to our practice an extensive and contemporary training together with a patient centered approach with her caring, gentle nature and compassionate personality.
