Your treatment plan and options for surgical procedures will be discussed with you by our doctors at your initial consultation. Depending on the complexity of treatment, your medical history, and your level of anxiety, your surgery will be arranged at one of the following locations:
1. Surgical Suites at Sydney Oral & Facial Surgery — our surgical suites are adjacent to our consulting rooms, where minor procedures are performed under local anaesthetic or intravenous sedation.
2. Private hospitals — under general anaesthesia, as either a day stay or overnight stay. Our doctors operate at the following hospitals: Sydney Adventist Hospital, Hunters Hill Private Hospital, Chatswood Private Hospital, Castlecrag Private Hospital, and San Day Surgery Hospital.
After surgery, a review appointment — usually 7 to 10 days after surgery — will be arranged. Post-operative instructions, together with an after-hours contact number, will be provided to our patients.
