Dr Lydia Lim was honoured to be invited by the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons to contribute to this premier Conference on “Surgery for Facial Aesthetics”.
Dr Lim lectured on Orthognathic Surgery for Facial Aesthetics. Dr Lim discussed facial assessment for facial proportion and presented an update of contemporary Ortho-Facial Surgery including 3D Virtual Surgical Planning. She presented on maxillary and mandibular deficiencies, asymmetry gummy smile and management of the chin and jawline with Genioplasty. She discussed the literature on the ageing face and demonstrated how skeletal surgery can result in facial aesthetic transformation and be a useful adjunct to facial rejuvenation surgery.
