Dr Lydia Lim runs and lectures at the Orthognathic Surgery Course for the University of Sydney Orthodontic program for many years. Dr Lim lectured with her orthodontic colleague Dr Nour Tarraf. Dr Lim outlined that how contemporary Orthognathic surgery has evolved to include management of Face, Bite and Airway. She talked about Facial Assessment and how to assess a Face to optimise Aesthetics.
Dr Lim also lectured on 3D Virtual Surgical Planning including a live demonstration on how she personally plans an orthognathic patient using IPS Case Designer software on her computer. Dr Lim has been teaching Orthognathic Surgery to the University of Sydney Orthodontic program for over 20 years.
