Dr Pearl Sirichai

Dr Pearl Sirichai is a specialist Oral Surgeon with over 10 years’ experience in oral surgery and hospital-based care. She brings a unique dual-training background in both medicine and dentistry, allowing her to approach patient care with a broad clinical perspective and a strong focus on safety and outcomes.
Pearl qualified as a medical practitioner from the University of Otago in 2009 and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2014. She then worked in the specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at Westmead Hospital for four years, gaining extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, management of orofacial infections, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and facial trauma. Pearl undertook specialist training in Oral Surgery at the University of Sydney and was awarded her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry with specialist registration as an Oral Surgeon.
Pearl is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is actively involved in teaching and mentoring of dental students and junior clinicians.
Pearl’s particular areas of interest include third molar surgery, oral surgery for orthodontics, dental implants and oral pathology. Her research has focused on the role of intravenous sedation in oral surgery, reflecting her interest in patient comfort, anxiety management and procedural safety.
She is known for her calm, approachable manner and takes time to ensure patients feel informed, supported and at ease throughout their care. |
